WINE MAKING PROCESS
Freixenet Mia Pink Sparkling Moscato is produced using a method influenced by the Asti process. The initial alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. A second fermentation, the 'prise de mousse,' occurs in sealed tanks at lower temperatures. Fermentation is halted by chilling the wine at 7% ABV, after which it is filtered to remove yeasts and bottled. The wine is aged briefly, designed for young consumption.
