ABOUT THIS WINE
Michi's Farm Orange is a vibrant, light, and easy-drinking natural wine crafted by Michael Gindl, also known as MG vom Sol. Michael Gindl took over his family's farm, which has a rich history dating back to 1807, and converted it to biodynamic practices, even employing horses for vineyard work. This wine is an authentic expression of the Weinviertel terroir in Austria, produced with a philosophy of minimal intervention. The 'Michi's Farm' project sources grapes from both Gindl's own biodynamic vineyards and from other carefully selected organic growers, ensuring a consistent quality and character that reflects the region's unique identity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Michi's Farm Orange is a white blend that undergoes a distinctive vinification process to achieve its characteristic amber hue and complex profile. The grapes, sourced from organic and biodynamic vineyards, undergo three weeks of skin maceration, which imparts color, texture, and aromatic depth. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees, a technique that contributes to its richness and complexity. A key aspect of its natural wine philosophy is that it is bottled with no added sulfur, ensuring a pure and unadulterated expression of the fruit and terroir.
