WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Milan Nestarec Nach is produced using grapes from estate-owned vineyards farmed organically. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted before being destemmed and gently crushed. Maceration on skins lasts for a couple of weeks, followed by spontaneous fermentation in large neutral oak barrels or stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages in these same vessels for about 6-8 months. It is typically bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal or no added sulfites.
