ABOUT THIS WINE
Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is the signature champagne of the Moët & Chandon house, first created in 1869. It embodies the producer's distinctive style, characterized by vibrant fruitiness, a seductive palate, and elegant maturity. The name 'Imperial' is historically linked to Napoleon Bonaparte, who was an admirer of the champagne. Moët & Chandon, founded in 1743, is one of the largest vineyard owners in the Champagne region, spanning the five main Champagne zones. This non-vintage champagne is a testament to the house's consistent style, achieved through the meticulous blending of over 100 different wines, including reserve wines, to ensure balance and elegance year after year.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is produced using the traditional Champagne method. The grapes, a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, are fermented in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. A key aspect of its production is the meticulous blending of over 100 different wines, with 20% to 30% being reserve wines selected for consistency and balance. The wine then undergoes maturation in the cellars for a minimum of 24 months, followed by at least 3 months of aging after disgorgement. The house is also engaged in ecological transition programs and initiatives to support biodiversity.
