WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Monastery Tvrdos Vranac 2021 is produced from 100% Vranac grapes grown in the Herzegovinian karst region. The grapes are cultivated in rocky soils, benefiting from the sub-Mediterranean climate. Following harvest, the wine is aged for 24 months in old monastic oak barrels, some exceeding a century in age. This extended aging process in seasoned oak is a key technique employed by the winery.
