ABOUT THIS WINE
The Scarpa Monferrato Bianco 2019 is a white wine from the Monferrato DOC in Piedmont, Italy, exclusively crafted from 100% Timorasso grapes. Scarpa, a winery established in 1854, upholds a winemaking philosophy rooted in tradition and a deep respect for its terroir. The grapes are sourced from the 'I Bricchi' estate, situated at high altitudes between 350 and over 400 meters above sea level, on soils predominantly composed of clay. This unique combination of grape variety, high-altitude vineyard, and traditional winemaking practices sets this wine apart.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Scarpa Monferrato Bianco 2019 is produced using traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are fermented and then aged on their lees in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of six months. Following tank aging, the wine undergoes a further minimum of six months of bottle aging. This process is designed to allow the wine to develop complexity and integrate its components.
