ABOUT THIS WINE
The Monte Bluna Tinta Miúda 2020 is a single-varietal red wine from Monte Bluna Lda., a boutique producer in Portugal's Lisbon region, specifically Arruda dos Vinhos. WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Monte Bluna Tinta Miúda 2020 undergoes complete destemming and passive crushing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 20°C with variable pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in used French oak barrels. The wine is then aged for 9 months in used French oak barrels, followed by 12 months of maturation in stainless steel vessels. The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted into small boxes. Sustainable farming practices are employed, with no herbicides or harmful chemicals used.
