WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Montefalco Rosso Riserva is crafted from a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Merlot. The grapes are sourced from vines aged 25-30 years, grown on limestone and clay soils with a South and South-West exposure. Sustainable farming practices are utilized. Following harvest, the wine undergoes fermentation, after which it is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels. A further minimum of 6 months of aging in bottle precedes release. The residual sugar content is noted at 4 g/L.
