WINE MAKING PROCESS
Murganheira Millésime Bruto is produced using the traditional Champenoise method, which involves a second fermentation taking place directly in the bottle. Following this, the wine undergoes an extended maturation period of three years within the producer's distinctive blue granite cellars. These cellars, carved into the rock, offer a stable, cool environment conducive to the wine's development. Grapes are harvested manually to ensure quality selection. The winery, Sociedade Agrícola e Comercial do Varosa, S.A., blends traditional winemaking practices with modern technology. Since 2011, the winery has also incorporated specific cork stoppers from Amorim Cork for its sparkling wines.
