WINE MAKING PROCESS
This Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie is produced from 100% Melon de Bourgogne grapes. Following harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled, low temperatures to preserve aromatics. Malolactic fermentation is generally avoided. The wine then undergoes a crucial 'sur lie' aging process for at least 6 to 8 months, where it rests on its lees. This technique is key to developing the wine's characteristic texture and complexity without the use of oak. The producer, Gadais Père & Fils, is committed to sustainable and ecological farming practices.
