ABOUT THIS WINE
The Rivero family's winemaking legacy began in 1899 with Olegario Rivero in Arnedo, La Rioja. Over five generations, the family estate has grown into the prominent Grupo Marqués del Atrio. Decades ago, the family expanded their viticultural footprint into the neighboring D.O. Navarra, drawn by the region's exceptional suitability for producing vibrant, fruit-driven monovarietal wines. This Garnacha represents their commitment to accessible, high-quality everyday wines that celebrate regional identity, even featuring a label design that pays homage to the traditional red handkerchief worn during Navarra's famous San Fermín festival.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Crafted as a fresh Joven wine, the grapes are sourced from the alluvial soils of the Ribera Baja sub-zone. Upon arrival at the winery, the Garnacha grapes are destemmed and partially crushed, intentionally retaining a high proportion of whole berries to promote fruit-forward aromatics. Fermentation is carried out using both native and selected yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 25 to 28 degrees Celsius. The maceration process lasts between 10 and 15 days with daily pump-overs to gently extract color and soft tannins. The wine is bottled young without any oak aging to preserve its bright, primary fruit character.
