The Purcari estate's vineyards are situated on slopes with black sand loam over limestone, benefiting from sunlight and proximity to the Black Sea. The wine has a notable history, having been supplied to royal courts and recognized internationally, including an award at the Paris World Expo in 1878.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Negru de Purcari 2020 is produced using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, and Rară Neagră grapes. The grapes are hand-harvested and selected. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques. Château Purcari employs sustainable farming practices, with a portion of its vineyards undergoing organic conversion.
