WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Niepoort Vinhos S.A. Nat´Cool Voyeur Douro Tinto 2021 is produced using natural winemaking practices. The grapes are fermented and macerated in 1000-liter clay amphorae for 6 to 8 months. Each amphora contains wine from a different vineyard site planted with old vines. After maceration, the different batches are blended in stainless steel tanks and then aged for an additional 2-3 months in amphorae before bottling. The vineyards are managed using biodynamic farming principles. The wine is made from a blend of traditional Douro red and white grape varieties.
