ABOUT THIS WINE
The Le Vigne di Zamo 'No Name' Friulano is a white wine from the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. The 'No Name' designation originated from a 2009 EU ruling concerning the Tokaj name. Le Vigne di Zamo is a family-owned winery founded in the 1920s, known for its commitment to sustainability. The 2021 vintage is notable as their first certified organic harvest. The wine is made from 100% Friulano grapes, a variety native to the region, grown on 'ponca' soils at elevations between 300-450 meters, protected by the Julian Pre-Alps.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The 2021 No Name Friulano is produced from 100% Friulano grapes. Following harvest, alcoholic fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. A partial malolactic fermentation is carried out. The wine then undergoes a six-month aging period on fine lees, with frequent batonnage, primarily in stainless steel to maintain freshness. The 2021 vintage is the first to be certified organic.
