WINE MAKING PROCESS
Nù Litr Orange is crafted using a blend of Falanghina (60%), Chardonnay (30%), and Fiano (10%). The Falanghina and Fiano grapes undergo a week of skin maceration, a key step in creating an orange wine, while the Chardonnay is directly pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous, utilizing native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine ages for five months in stainless steel, followed by two months of bottle aging before release. The grapes are sourced from the 'C. da Posta Monaca Agro di Apricena' vineyard, known for its Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Viticulture is certified organic and follows biodynamic principles. Grapes are hand-harvested, often picked early to preserve acidity and manage alcohol levels.
