WINE MAKING PROCESS
Nyetimber 1086 2009 is produced using the traditional method. Grapes are sourced from the estate's vineyards in West Sussex, planted on chalk and greensand soils. The harvest in 2009 benefited from favorable late-season weather. Fermentation is carried out parcel by parcel, allowing for precise selection of the best components. The wine then undergoes an extended aging process, with a minimum of five years on lees and a further two years post-disgorgement. This extended maturation is a key element in developing the wine's complexity and character.
