Oberrotweil Chardonnay

The Salwey Oberrotweil Chardonnay 2020 is produced using 100% Chardonnay grapes. Key winemaking techniques include spontaneous fermentation, likely utilizing native yeasts, which contributes to the wine's character. The wine undergoes aging in used oak barrels, specifically 1200-liter ovals and barriques, for a period of up to 24 months. This process aims to integrate subtle oak influence and develop texture while preserving the purity of the fruit and the expression of the vineyard.
