ABOUT THIS WINE
Michael Broger founded his estate in 2003 on the steep slopes of the Ottenberg hill in Thurgau, Switzerland. Operating under a strict minimalist philosophy, Broger manages his vineyards biodynamically, employing sheep for natural grazing and avoiding synthetic chemicals. The 2021 vintage was shaped by severe spring frosts and a cool summer, which drastically reduced yields but resulted in grapes with exceptional acid structure and lower potential alcohol, capturing a pure expression of this unique Swiss terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This orange wine is crafted from 100% Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc). The hand-harvested grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in open-top used wooden barriques, remaining on the skins for three weeks. Following maceration, the wine is aged on its fine lees in a combination of stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels. It is bottled completely unfiltered and without any added sulfites, preserving its raw, natural character.
