WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Orben begins with manual harvesting of grapes from old vines. Fermentation is carried out separately using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Following alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation takes place in barrels. The wine is then aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, with 50% being new and 50% second-use. Bodegas Izadi utilizes gravity in its winemaking process due to the winery's architectural design on a slope.
