WINE MAKING PROCESS
Ornellaia 2021 is produced from grapes harvested by hand with careful selection. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete vats, followed by a maceration period. Malolactic fermentation is completed in oak barrels. The wine is then aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which are new. Following barrel aging, it undergoes an additional 12 months of bottle aging before its release.
