The wine was created in collaboration with Swedish artist Petter Alexis Askergren, with 'P.Lex' representing his name, to commemorate his 15 years as an artist. Icon Wines is a venture by Swedish importer The Wine Team Global AB, aiming to provide high-quality, value-for-money wines by partnering with local producers. This Prosecco has achieved recognition, being named one of the world's best Proseccos in 2021 by The Drinks Business. It is noted for being a dry and fruity style of Prosecco and is part of Systembolaget's fixed assortment.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
P.Lex Prosecco Brut is produced using the tank method (cuve close or autoclave). This involves a secondary fermentation in pressurized tanks, where the carbon dioxide is captured to create the wine's effervescence. Following this, the wine rests on its lees, a process that can impart additional flavor and texture. It is then filtered, adjusted for sweetness, and bottled under pressure at low temperatures to preserve its freshness and sparkle. The Glera grapes are sourced from the DOC Prosecco region in Veneto, Italy.
