ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Laougué is located in the heart of the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations in Southwest France. Managed by the Dabadie family (under SARL Dabadie GC), the estate has transitioned towards sustainable agriculture and organic practices. The terroir features clay-limestone soils on rolling hillsides, which benefit from warm, sunny days and cool nights influenced by the nearby Pyrenees mountains. This unique microclimate allows the local Manseng grapes to retain high natural acidity while achieving optimal phenolic ripeness.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes, primarily Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, are harvested by hand to ensure selection of the healthiest fruit. After gentle pressing, the juice undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the vibrant primary fruit aromas and crisp acidity. A portion of the wine undergoes aging on its fine lees with regular stirring (bâtonnage) to add texture, complexity, and roundness to the palate before bottling.
