ABOUT THIS WINE
Casa E. di Mirafiore, founded in 1878 by Emanuele Alberto Guerrieri, Count of Mirafiore and son of King Vittorio Emanuele II, is a historic estate in the heart of Serralunga d'Alba. After decades of being absorbed into larger entities, the brand was revived to focus on traditional, high-quality winemaking. The Paiagallo vineyard is located in the municipality of Barolo, characterized by silty-clay soils that yield wines of great elegance, aromatic complexity, and structural finesse.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo fermentation in concrete vats with native yeasts. Maceration on the skins lasts for about 30 days with submerged cap management to gently extract tannins and color. The wine is then aged for 24 to 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks (botti), followed by at least 12 months of refinement in the bottle before release, adhering to traditional Barolo winemaking practices.
