ABOUT THIS WINE
Papika 2021 is a red wine from Chamlija Wines, produced in the Thrace region of Turkey. The wine's name is derived from its blend of Papaskarasi, Pinot Noir, and Kalecik Karasi grapes. Chamlija Wines was established in 2000 by Mustafa Çamlıca, continuing a family tradition of farming in the region since 1936. The winery focuses on producing 'terroir wines' from its vineyards located on the decomposed granite soils of the Strandja Massif. The Thrace region's climate, influenced by three seas, is considered a key factor in the wine's character. The wine features artistic labels designed by Irem Çamlıca.
