ABOUT THIS WINE
The Paradoxo line is crafted by Vinícola Salton, the oldest winery in continuous operation in Brazil, established in 1910. Sourced from the rolling plains of the Campanha Gaúcha region along the Uruguayan border, this collection explores the harmony of contrasting forces. The name 'Paradoxo' (Paradox) reflects the winery's success in taming the naturally rustic, highly tannic Tannat grape into an elegant, approachable, and gastronomy-friendly wine.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This Tannat is produced as a 'Corte de Safras' (blend of vintages) to achieve optimal balance and consistency. The grapes are manually harvested from VSP-trained vineyards in Campanha Gaúcha. Following rigorous bunch selection, the fruit undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation using select, vegan-friendly yeasts. The wine is carefully matured to soften its robust tannin structure before final blending and bottling.
