ABOUT THIS WINE
Vietti Perbacco Nebbiolo is a Langhe DOC Nebbiolo from Piedmont, Italy, produced by Vietti s.r.l. The wine's name, 'Perbacco,' signifies an offering to Bacchus. It is notable for being produced from grapes sourced from select vineyard sites within the Barolo region, which are then declassified to the Langhe DOC. This practice allows Vietti to tell the story of the Langhe region through a wine that offers significant quality and complexity, reflecting the estate's long history and commitment to tradition.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Vietti Perbacco Nebbiolo undergoes alcoholic fermentation for 3-4 weeks at controlled temperatures of 28°-32°C. Following this, malolactic fermentation occurs in steel tanks and/or barriques. Each vineyard parcel is vinified and aged separately. The wine then matures for about 18-20 months in a combination of barriques and large Slavonian oak barrels. Finally, the different lots are assembled in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
