ABOUT THIS WINE
Piccini Memoro Rosso d'Italia was originally created by the historic Piccini 1882 estate to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italian unification. It is a highly innovative, multi-vintage, and multi-regional blend designed to capture the diverse spirit of Italian viticulture in a single bottle. By sourcing grapes from four distinct corners of the Italian peninsula—Puglia, Abruzzo, Sicily, and Veneto—Piccini crafts a consistent, fruit-forward, and accessible wine that transcends traditional regional boundaries.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Each grape variety is harvested and vinified separately to respect its regional character. The Primitivo from Puglia undergoes a partial appassimento process, where grapes are air-dried to concentrate sugars and flavors. The Montepulciano portion is aged for 12 months in large French oak casks (ranging from 20 to 50 hl) to develop structure. Meanwhile, the Nero d'Avola, Merlot, and Primitivo components are matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve their vibrant primary fruit profiles before the final master blend is assembled.
