WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Pfitscher Pinot Nero Riserva Matan is produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Following harvest, fermentation occurs in tanks for 14-16 days, with continuous punch-downs of the cap to facilitate extraction. The wine is then aged for 12-15 months in a mix of small and large oak barrels, followed by a period of bottle aging. The estate practices organic viticulture and emphasizes working in harmony with nature, holding the ClimaHouse accreditation for its commitment to sustainability.
