WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Krohn Porto Colheita 2005 is produced using traditional Port winemaking methods. Grapes are fermented, and the process is stopped by the addition of grape brandy to fortify the wine. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in oak casks for an extended period, a hallmark of Colheita Ports. This aging process allows for gradual oxidation and the development of complex characteristics. The grapes are sourced from vineyards designated as A-grade.
