WINE MAKING PROCESS
Taittinger Prélude Grands Crus is produced using traditional Champagne winemaking methods. The grapes are sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, and only the first pressing, known as the 'cuvée,' is used. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine then undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, a process that creates its effervescence. A crucial element of its production is the extended aging period, with the wine resting on its lees for a minimum of four to five years, and sometimes longer. This extended maturation contributes to the wine's complexity and fine texture.
