ABOUT THIS WINE
Château Minuty Prestige Blanc 2021 hails from the Côtes de Provence appellation in Southern France. This white wine is produced by Château Minuty, a family-owned estate with a history dating back to 1936, now managed by the fourth generation of the Matton-Farnet family. The vineyards are situated on hillsides with views of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, benefiting from a maritime climate. The wine is a blend primarily featuring the Rolle grape, complemented by Semillon and Clairette. In 1955, the estate achieved the prestigious 'Cru Classé des Côtes de Provence' classification. In 2023, Château Minuty became part of the LVMH portfolio, aiming for broader international presence. The 2021 vintage experienced challenging weather patterns, including frost and heatwaves, yet the grapes reached maturity for an early harvest.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Minuty Prestige Blanc involves meticulous grape selection followed by pressing to separate free-run and pressed juices. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at low temperatures to preserve aromatic intensity and freshness. Malolactic fermentation is intentionally avoided. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for four months in stainless steel tanks. The winemaking philosophy at Château Minuty centers on expressing the specific terroirs of Provence, with a focus on maintaining the purity and vibrancy of the fruit.
