ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Rostaing's Puech Noble Rosé hails from the Languedoc region, representing an extension of the Rostaing family's winemaking philosophy. Founded by René Rostaing and now managed by his son Pierre, the estate applies a meticulous approach to winemaking, emphasizing terroir expression. The Puech Noble vineyard is situated on a plateau with limestone soils, benefiting from cooler temperatures due to its elevation. This unique location contributes to the balance and freshness of the wines produced. The estate's viticultural practices focus on minimal intervention, with vineyards cultivated without herbicides and maintained mechanically.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking at Puech Noble emphasizes minimal intervention, a philosophy carried over from Domaine Rostaing's Northern Rhône estates. Grapes are hand-harvested to ensure quality. Fermentation is conducted using indigenous yeasts, allowing the natural microflora to contribute to the wine's character. The wine is then aged in a mix of 225-liter and 500-liter barrels, with only a small proportion being new oak. This approach aims to preserve the unique expression of the Puech Noble terroir.
