ABOUT THIS WINE
Punt Verd is crafted by winemaker Óscar Navas Capilla under his personal project, La Furtiva. Established in 2017 in Vilalba dels Arcs, Terra Alta, the estate focuses on reclaiming local heritage. Navas, a first-generation vigneron, created this wine to prove that Spain's high-altitude, sun-drenched highlands can produce an ultra-light, fresh, and thirst-quenching style of red wine. The soul of the blend is Morenillo, a rare, nearly extinct native grape known for its delicate profile and vibrant acidity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process is defined by minimal intervention and a focus on freshness. Grapes are organically dry-farmed and hand-harvested. Spontaneous fermentation occurs using only indigenous yeasts. The grapes undergo direct pressing with a very brief maceration of up to 24 hours for a small portion of the skins to keep tannins low. The wine is aged for just one month in subterranean concrete tanks and bottled extremely early without fining, filtration, or added sulfites.
