WINE MAKING PROCESS
Quinta da Calcada Alvarinho Terroir 2021 is produced using 100% Alvarinho grapes. The winemaking process involves de-stemming and light pressing, followed by static decantation or racking of the must. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for about 15 days at temperatures below 11°C. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on fine lees for 4 months to enhance complexity and mouthfeel. Grapes are sourced from estate vineyards managed with sustainable practices and are harvested manually.
