ABOUT THIS WINE
Bodega Quinta de la Quietud, established in 1999 in the heart of the D.O. Toro, is a pioneer in organic viticulture in the region. The estate's flagship wine, Quinta Quietud Reserva, is crafted from old-vine Tinta de Toro (the local clone of Tempranillo) planted on sandy-clay soils rich in pebbles. The winery focuses on biodiversity, dry-farming, and artisanal methods to capture the raw power and elegance of Toro's unique terroir. This vintage represents a harmonious balance of the region's characteristic intensity and refined complexity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are harvested manually in small crates, followed by rigorous selection. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using native yeasts in temperature-controlled concrete vats. The wine undergoes extended maceration to extract deep color and structured tannins. It is then aged for approximately 20 to 24 months in French oak barrels (around 20% new, the rest neutral) to soften its powerful structure while preserving the purity of the fruit. The wine is bottled unfined and lightly filtered.
