WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Radikon Merlot 2006 is produced using a natural winemaking approach. Grapes are destemmed and undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in oak vats, followed by extended maceration ranging from 15 days to over two months, with manual punch-downs. The wine is then aged in large, old Slavonian oak barrels for an extended period, often between 3 to 6 years. Following aging, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal or no sulfur additions throughout the process. Viticulture is organic, with low yields and hand-harvesting.
