ABOUT THIS WINE
The Rebo Cantina Franzosi 2021 is a red wine from Lombardy, specifically the Valtènesi area near Lake Garda. It is made from 100% Rebo grapes, a variety created in the early 20th century as a cross between Merlot and Teroldego. Cantina Franzosi is among the few producers in the region to cultivate this grape, producing it under the Benaco Bresciano IGP designation. The winery itself has a history dating back to the 1930s, with the Franzosi family focusing on quality and territorial expression in their vineyards and olive groves. The 2021 vintage is presented as a 'Selezione 2021'.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Rebo Cantina Franzosi 2021 is produced using grapes from vineyards situated on the morainic hills of Valtènesi. The harvest is conducted by hand, with careful selection of the grapes. Vinification involves a long maceration process carried out at controlled temperatures, aimed at developing the wine's tannins. Following maceration, the wine is aged in oak tonneau, and subsequently undergoes further refinement in the bottle before release.
