ABOUT THIS WINE
Régis et Sylvain is a dynamic négociant project founded by Marseille-based cousins Régis Tuccinardi and Sylvain Grosshans. Driven by a passion for regional typicity and accessible quality, they partner with local growers to craft expressive, terroir-driven wines. 'L’Huître' (The Oyster) is sourced from the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation in the Pays Nantais region of the Loire Valley. The vineyards are characterized by ancient igneous and metamorphic soils, including granite and schist, which impart a distinct mineral signature to the wine.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Crafted from 100% Melon de Bourgogne, the grapes undergo a brief cold maceration to enhance aromatic extraction before pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the vibrant primary fruit. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees ('Sur Lie') in accordance with traditional Muscadet methods. This lees contact imparts a subtle creamy texture, weight, and complexity, balancing the grape's naturally high, electric acidity before bottling.
