WINE MAKING PROCESS
Shafer Vineyards Relentless is a proprietary red blend primarily composed of Syrah and Petite Sirah. The grapes are sourced from vineyard sites located in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, with Syrah and Petite Sirah sometimes processed together. The wine undergoes an aging process of 20 months in 100% new French oak barrels from Allier and Troncais. Shafer Vineyards emphasizes sustainable farming practices, including water conservation and the use of solar power.
