WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Campo Viejo Reserva 2018 is produced using grapes from various sub-zones of Rioja. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at 28°C, followed by a 20-day maceration period. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, with a significant portion in French oak. Following barrel aging, it rests for another 18 months in bottle before release. Conventional viticulture and winemaking methods are utilized, with a focus on controlled processes to develop the wine's character.
