ABOUT THIS WINE
RhoneWolf, operating under the Myka Estates umbrella in Placerville, California, is dedicated to crafting modern, fresh interpretations of Rhône-style blends. Sourced from the high-elevation Saureel Vineyard in the Gold Hill District of the El Dorado AVA, this wine pays homage to the region's history as the birthplace of the Rhône Rangers movement. The vineyard sits at 1,650 feet on coarse, decomposed granite soils, experiencing warm days and dramatic nightly temperature drops that preserve the grapes' natural vibrancy.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Winemaker Mica Raas chose to co-ferment the four grape varieties—Picpoul, Chenin Blanc, Clairette Blanche, and Grenache Blanc—together in a single stainless steel tank. A specific yeast strain was selected to enhance fresh fruit aromatics. To maintain the wine's crisp acidity and pure fruit profile, it underwent zero oak aging, remaining entirely in stainless steel until bottling, followed by cold-settling to ensure a clean, focused finish.
