ABOUT THIS WINE
Ribas Rosat 2023 is a rosé wine from Bodega Ribas, a winery with a history dating back to 1711, making it the oldest family winery in Spain. The wine is produced in Mallorca, Spain, under the IGP Vi de la Terra Mallorca designation. It is crafted from a blend of indigenous Mallorcan grape varieties: 60% Mantonegro, 20% Gargollassa, and 20% Callet. The selection of younger vines from deeper, clay-rich soils is a key aspect of its production, aimed at achieving fresh fruit characteristics and a moderate alcohol level. Bodegas Ribas is committed to respecting the land and heritage, focusing on native grapes and has held organic certification since 2016.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Ribas Rosat 2023 is produced using a method of direct pressing of whole bunches, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 13-15°C for about 30 days, employing selected indigenous yeasts from the estate. After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees for a few months to develop its texture. The grapes are harvested manually and early to preserve freshness. The winery utilizes very low levels of added sulphites. Bodegas Ribas has maintained organic certification since 2016.
