ABOUT THIS WINE
The Marina Danielli Ribolla Gialla Friuli Colli Orientali 2020 is a single-varietal wine from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy, specifically the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC. Produced by the family-run Marina Danielli estate, the wine embodies a philosophy of minimal intervention. The vineyards are located in Prepotto on 'Ponca' soil, a geological formation of marl and sandstone. The 2020 vintage is noted for its fresh fruity acidity. A distinctive aspect of its production involves aging in natural terracotta amphora.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for the Marina Danielli Ribolla Gialla Friuli Colli Orientali 2020 begins with cooling and soft pressing of the grapes. A brief maceration of 6-8 hours at +8°C is followed by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of +15°C for 12 days, using indigenous yeast. Post-fermentation, the wine is racked into stainless steel tanks, followed by a period of 6-8 months aging in natural terracotta amphora. The producer aims for minimal intervention throughout the process.
