WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Ricossa Campolibero Barolo Organic 2019 is produced using traditional winemaking methods for Barolo. Maceration and fermentation occur in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and regular pumping over. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a minimum of 38 months of aging as per Barolo DOCG regulations, including 18 months in oak barrels. This particular wine is aged for 2 years in French barrique and then for 3 years in bottle. The grapes are harvested in October, with a focus on selecting only the best quality fruit. The producer, MGM Mondo del Vino, is committed to sustainable practices, with the 'Campolibero' designation indicating organic farming in the vineyards.
