The Logan Ridge of Tears Riesling 2022 involved meticulous handling of small parcels of top fruit. The 2022 vintage featured wild-yeast fermentation, with the grapes plunged by hand, followed by a year of aging in the winery. For the 2023 vintage, winemaking included a brief period of skin maceration before spontaneous fermentation in old oak barrels, with the wine then aged on its lees in these barrels for 11 months.
