WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Dönnhoff Riesling Trocken 2023 is produced from 100% Riesling grapes. The harvest is manual, with vines trained low to capture soil warmth. Fermentation is carried out using natural yeasts in a combination of stainless steel tanks and large, traditional German oak barrels (fuder). Following fermentation, the wine matures in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels. This process aims to create a wine that balances extract, acidity, and fruit, reflecting the unique terroir of the Nahe region.
