ABOUT THIS WINE
The Seckinger Riesling Vom Löss 2023 is a dry, single-varietal Riesling from Germany's Pfalz region. Produced by Weingut Seckinger, the estate is managed by the Seckinger brothers, who have dedicated themselves to biodynamic farming and natural winemaking since taking over the family vineyards. The grapes for this wine are primarily from the Ruppertsberger Linsenbusch and Niederkirchener Schlossberg vineyards, which are characterized by clay and loess soils combined with red sandstone. This approach emphasizes minimal intervention to allow the terroir to express itself clearly in the final wine.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Seckinger Riesling Vom Löss 2023 is made from 100% Riesling grapes. After careful pressing, the must undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for a few months in stainless steel, with some sources indicating a portion may also age in large wooden casks. It is bottled without filtering or clarifying, and with minimal or no added sulfur, adhering to natural winemaking principles.
