WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Rignana Chianti Classico Riserva 2020 is produced using grapes from Fattoria Rignana. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperatures and maceration periods ranging from 15 to 22 days, utilizing native yeasts. The wine is aged for around 24 months in a combination of wood, including Slavonian botti, with a move away from barriques. Following wood aging, the wine is further aged in the bottle. Harvest is conducted by hand in late September or early October. The estate practices organic farming.
