ABOUT THIS WINE
The Rizzardi Prosecco Extra Dry is a Non-Vintage sparkling white wine from the Veneto region, made from 100% Glera grapes under the Prosecco DOC appellation. It is produced by Guerrieri Rizzardi, a winery formed in 1913 by the merger of two established Veronese wine-making families. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Treviso province, including hillside locations. The wine is characterized by its balance and approachability, with the 'Extra Dry' sweetness level offering a slightly softer profile than Brut.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This Prosecco is produced using the Charmat method, involving a primary alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 10-12 days. A second fermentation takes place in autoclaves to create the sparkling effervescence. The wine then undergoes aging on lees for 2-3 months. Viticulture practices include eco-friendly methods with limited use of artificial pest control and mechanical weeding. Harvests are timed for the coolest parts of the day to preserve aromatic freshness, and yields are managed to ensure grape quality.
