ABOUT THIS WINE
Rose & Arrow Estate is an ambitious project in Oregon's Willamette Valley, founded by the late Mark Tarlov and Louis-Michel Liger-Belair of Burgundy's legendary Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair. Collaborating with renowned terroir expert Dr. Pedro Parra, they mapped the Eola-Amity Hills to identify unique volcanic basalt micro-parcels. Gathered Stones represents the pinnacle of this geological exploration, sourced from a tiny, sub-acre parcel where ancient, fractured vesicular basalt forces the vines to struggle, yielding a wine of extraordinary mineral tension and verticality.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Crafted by winemaker Felipe Ramirez, the grapes are 100% de-stemmed and fermented using native, spontaneous yeasts. Extraction is managed gently in an infusion style with light pump-overs in open-top fermenters to preserve aromatic purity. The wine undergoes elevage for 12 to 15 months on its gross lees without racking. Aging takes place in French oak barrels sourced from Burgundy coopers, with new oak carefully limited to 20-30% to avoid wood-tannin extraction and maintain fresh fruit and volcanic character.
